Girth rigging

Ghost now has several options for girth/cinch rigging. The original sliding V is great as it allows the rider to independently position the girth and saddle and the sliding V will move with the horse through all gaits. Any saddle may be ordered with cinch rigging, either nylon or leather covered nylon (some have commented the leather covered doesn't slide as well as the nylon). And now we've added the option for the Cavallin/Puro rigging for all saddles as well. This rigging is simple and in some cases more stable since it can't move as easily with the horse, but the rider can adjust the girth position by tightening one billet more than the other to create the desired angle.

Stirrup straps & keepers

These stirrup straps are thin, yet very strong. Made from granite biothane, they'll hold up longer than leather but don't create a bump under your leg. Even better when you run the buckle at the bottom and use the handy keeper to put the excess strap neatly out of the way.
The standard configuration Ghost stirrup straps are 1" granite biothane and can work with any stirrup style. These are the only Ghost stirrup straps that work with the English slip-on fenders.
If you prefer a webber style strap, check out the T-bar and Conway Straps.

Pocket shim for closed panels

Wedged shim inserted between base and closed panels. Perfect for those who want the classy look of the closed panels (especially with a matching color/material) but need a little lift in front to balance the rider for horses who might be downhill where the saddle wants to side or who have less curvature than the Ghost base. These work great with velcro opening panels too, and sometimes are a bigger solution than the felt shims that can go inside the panel. This is also the best balancing solution for the western saddle. Sold in pairs.

Ghost Saddle Pads - long flap

Ghost makes an extremely nice pad, especially for the very reasonable price. Many people buy these for other saddles including BMSS, Freeform, and even treed saddles. Bottom material options include sympanova (a soft rubber, easy to clean, breathable), black or white wool blend, and an amazing medicinal sheepskin. I recommend 1cm inserts with sheepskin unless rider is over 185, and for other bottom materials unless over 165 or horse's spine is well protected.
I keep mostly black with various bottom materials in stock. Other colors will have to be ordered from Italy.

Oolala Girth from Ghost

This is simply the most scrumptious and amazingly functional girth you'll ever find! Ordering the Oolala girth requires two measurements - the overall length as you would normally measure from buckle to buckle and the length of the center pad. This will allow you to have a girth that isn't bulky in your horse's armpit area. And most importantly, it can move with your horse. The pads are removeable for cleaning. The beauty of this girth is that you can choose the length of the center section depending if your horse is wide or narrow chested. You would choose the overall length the same as normal. But you can tweak as makes sense for a horse more sensitive in the armpit area. I have limited stock so will probably have to order, but I do have a couple sympanova backed girths in a "middle range" size that you can order and then return and order your correct dimensions and backing material if you are unsure about measuring.
