New Ghost Models

The E is an endurance targeted saddle but also loved by trail riders who appreciate a lightweight saddle (under 13# fully kitted, under 9# alone). The base has a narrow, unflaring front perfect for a more streamlined horse (meaning typical range of shapes around 90 degrees at point of scapula, but not a big shoulder flare) who might require balancing shims in other Ghost bases. This give a natural narrow twist. The base is minimal with contour for rider legs so the overall feeling is close contact and a high level of communication between horse and rider. The panels are based on the wider XL panels but also contoured for the rider's leg for a perfect balance of weight distribution and comfort.

Have fun with colors! There are 3 areas at the front of the seat for flag colors, your favorite colors, or basic black. I'm riding this saddle on all 3 of my horses so did blue, purple, and red for each of their colors. You can also choose a piping color for the cantle.

There are 2 stirrup hanger rings, the higher endurance arch has 2 rings plus 2 more front rings (and if you have extra dees laying around you can add 2 more at the straps that fix the front of the seat), 2 pairs of dees plus a center dee for your saddle pad.

This saddle was a game changer for me. I always rode a Torino with thigh blocks and long flap, but the balance and close contact of the E has me permanently avoiding thigh blocks and even flaps! But it can be ordered with thigh blocks on the short flap or even a long flap. Ghost also has a new 2" wide stirrup strap with an easy change Conway buckle perfect for the E, but you can use standard stirrup straps or fenders. A cocci seat (designed to protect sensitive tailbones but also cushions seat bones) is an option.

Material choices are Fiore/Pegaso (my favorites), Micronappa, and Lorica. Flag colors could be in different materials. It's also possible to order without the pommel arch. And the seat can be removed/swapped.

There is currently one base size which is equivalent to a 17.5" english. The cocci integrated seat will make it a little smaller and it will be possible to order about 1" smaller. Larger options may come in the future, for now opting for no blocks or cocci seat will give the most room.

Standard dees include 2 on front of base, 2 on front of cantle, 2 on bottom of base in rear, 2 rear at the bottom of the seat rim, and center front and rear for your pad ties.

And especially those who ride with a straighter leg love the wider flap so their leg is nicely framed by the flap. This has become the most popular long flap saddle, working well for those who liked the Veneto and Roma.

Great for those who ride with a slightly shorter stirrup or who might take the occasional lower jump or have a longer thigh, but surprisingly, those who ride with a straighter leg love this model too. It's fast becoming the most popular short flap Ghost saddle. Pair with fenders or stirrup straps.

The C saddle is based upon the current Ghost Semi Flexx or Flexx, hidden pommel base and takes styling cues from several of the long flap models. However the flaps can be changed for different activities and also moved to customize position for the individual rider.
This saddle range is Customizable, Changeable, and Classy - all designed by Camillo Cavallin.
Note the deeper seat in the pics - this is standard. If you want a shallower seat/lower cantle, that can be ordered.
Also, the ONLY seat material is a new, really lovely leather called Fiore. It comes in 3 colors - black, very dark brown, and dark brown - at this time, so keep that in mind when planning your colors.
Some fun details - in addition to swapping flaps, you can move the flap forward and back, up and down, and even change the angle. I can turn a Torino flap into an Italy jumping flap by changing the angle!
